Theme license and terms of use

What a license covers

Each purchase of an iVishwa theme gives you a license to use it on one Shopify shop. Development and staging stores used to build that shop are included. If you run several shops, each needs its own license.

Buying, trials and refunds

Themes sold on the Shopify Theme Store are bought, licensed and refunded through Shopify, under the Shopify Theme Store terms. Those terms come first; this page explains how we apply them.

What you can do

• Use the theme on your licensed shop, for as long as the shop runs.
• Change its settings, content and code to suit your shop.
• Ask a developer to customize it for you, on your shop.

What you cannot do

• Use one license on more than one shop.
• Sell, share, give away or publish the theme or its code, whole or in part, modified or not.
• Use the theme, or parts of it, to make another theme or template for others.
• Remove the copyright notices in the theme's files.

Support

Support covers bugs in the theme and questions about using it, on the latest version. It does not cover custom code, files you or others have edited, third-party apps, or work on your shop's content. We reply within two business days, Monday to Friday. Contact us through the support page of your theme, or at theme.support@ivishwa.com.

Updates

New versions are free and arrive through Shopify. Updating makes a copy of your theme with your settings carried over, so you can check it before publishing. Code you have edited is not carried over, which is one reason to keep custom changes small and noted.

Pictures and content

The photographs, product names and wording in our demo shops belong to the demos and are not part of the license. Fonts come from Shopify's font library under their own licenses.

Warranty and liability

We test our themes carefully, but provide them as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost sales or data arising from using a theme. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.
