Returns and the EU withdrawal form

Tell search engines your return policy

In Theme settings > Pricing and policies, set the Return window in days, Return shipping (free returns, or the customer pays return shipping) and Return method (by mail, in store, or at a drop-off point). Selvedge adds them to each product's structured data, so Google can show your returns in search results. Leave the window empty to leave returns out.

For EU price rules, Show lowest price from the last 30 days shows the lowest earlier price next to a reduced price, from the variant metafield selvedge.lowest_price_30d.

Returns on product pages

Add the Delivery and returns block to the product information to show your delivery times and returns promise beside the buy button.

The EU withdrawal form

Shops selling to customers in the EU must let them withdraw from an online purchase. Selvedge includes a ready withdrawal form.

1. Create a page called Returns and withdrawal in Online StorePages.

2. Under Theme template, choose page.withdrawal and save.

3. In the theme editor, open the page and adjust the Withdrawal form heading, introduction and confirmation message.

4. Link the page from your footer menu.

Submissions arrive by email, like contact form messages, so you can confirm receipt to the customer.
