Good to know: Tag each review with the reviewer's skin type so the filters work.

Eyebrow	Text	—
Heading	Text with bold, italic and links	—
Supporting paragraph	Text	—
Link name	Text	Product pages link their rating to #reviews. Keep this name so that link lands here.

Setting	Type	What it does
Layout	Choice	Choose Wall, Carousel, List beside the summary. Wall to start.
Card style	Choice	Choose Outline, Soft fill, Raised, Quote. Soft fill to start.
Columns on desktop	Slider	For the wall layout. From 2 to 4, 3 to start.
Feature the first review	On / off	Shows the first review large, above the rest. Needs at least three reviews; not used in the carousel. Off by default.
Reviews shown at first	Slider	The rest wait behind a Show more button. The carousel shows them all. From 3 to 24, 6 to start.

Setting	Type	What it does
Show the rating summary	On / off	The average and how many reviews it is based on. On product pages, the rating your review app keeps in Shopify's reviews metafields is used when there is one. On by default.
Show the split by stars	On / off	On by default.
Show how many would recommend	On / off	Counts reviews of four stars or more. On by default.
Write a review button label	Text	—
Write a review link	Link	Your review app's form, or a contact page. Leave empty to hide the button. A link to any page.

Show a strip of customer photos and films	On / off	On by default.
Strip heading	Text	—
Play films silently on hover	On / off	On computers only. A click opens the film full size, with sound. On by default.

Filter by	Choice	Choose Skin type and stars, Stars only, No filters. Skin type and stars to start.
Show sorting	On / off	On by default.
On product pages, show only that product's reviews	On / off	Reviews tagged with another product are left out. Reviews without a product always show. On by default.

Setting	Type	What it does
Background color	Color	Leave empty to follow light and dark mode.
Top padding	Slider	From 0 to 120 px, 56 px to start.
Bottom padding	Slider	From 0 to 120 px, 56 px to start.

Blocks are added inside the section with Add block, and can be reordered by dragging.

Verified buyer	On / off	Only for reviews from a confirmed order. Off by default.
Skin type	Choice	Choose Not stated, Oily, Dry, Combination, Sensitive, Mature. Not stated to start.
Product reviewed	Product	Shows a link to the product on the card. Choose a product.
Avatar	Image	Choose an image from your files.
Customer photograph	Image	Customer photographs convert harder than studio ones. Use theirs, unedited. Choose an image from your files.
Customer video	Video	A short vertical film works best. It plays full size, with sound, when tapped. Choose a video uploaded to your files.
Dark mode video	Video	Plays instead of the video above while the store is in dark mode, from the same moment. Use a film of the same length. Choose a video uploaded to your files.
